OLCmd snmptest

The

snmptest

command tests SNMP connectivity using a specified community

name. If successful, snmptest displays sysDescr, sysName, sysContact, and

sysLocation.

Format:

OLCmd snmptest

ip_address

[

community_name

]

Where:

Example:

The following command tests SNMP connectivity using a community name of

nmswrite:

OLCmd snmptest 135.26.10.37 nmswrite

ip_address

Is the address of the device to be accessed.

community_name

Is the community name to be used. If omitted,

public

is used.
